Woman Wins Harley-Davidson Motorcycle and $309,213 on Penny Slot MegaJackpot

FULLERTON, Calif.--June 16, 2005--This week, Arlene Keith, who is terminally ill with cancer, realized a lifelong dream when she was presented with her brand new Harley-Davidson(R) Fat Boy(R) motorcycle at Anaheim-Fullerton Harley-Davidson, a local dealership in California.

When Keith, a resident of Orange, Calif., who has been battling cancer for more than a decade, told IGT and Harley-Davidson Motor Company that she had only days or weeks to live and wanted to ride her new motorcycle before it was too late, the Motor Company rushed delivery of the bike to the nearest dealer. Under normal circumstances, delivery time for a motorcycle won through a Harley-Davidson(R) penny slot machine can be more than three months.

On a mother-daughter road trip through the Pacific Northwest in May to say farewell to family and friends, Keith won $309,213 and a Harley-Davidson(R) Fat Boy(R) motorcycle when she hit the MegaJackpot(R) on a Harley-Davidson(R) penny slot machine at the Seven Feathers Hotel and Casino Resort in Canyonville, Ore.

"I have a lot of friends that ride, so I really want to get out on the road with them," said Keith. "Now that I have my new bike, all I have to do is learn to ride."

A single mother with a 16-year-old son, Keith was initially overwhelmed when she found out she had won the MegaJackpot(R). She knew it meant she would be able to repay her mother who has spent much of her retirement savings helping Keith through her long battle with cancer.

"I have been blessed with so many angels in my life, from my mother and son, family and friends to professional acquaintances that provided financial support," said Keith. "I didn't know that there are so many really good-hearted people out there, and it has been an amazing experience to see so much genuine generosity."

"We're just happy we could do something for Arlene," said Anaheim-Fullerton Harley-Davidson Finance and Insurance Manager Tom "Disco" Loveland. "It's not often when you get the opportunity to help someone as special as she is. We're just happy to see the smile on her face as she talks about riding with all her friends."

The Harley-Davidson(R) video slot was developed by IGT (www.IGT.com), a global company specializing in the design, development, manufacturing, distribution and sales of computerized gaming machines and systems products. All IGT MegaJackpots(R) top awards are paid in annual installments upon verification, except MegaJackpots Instant Winners Jackpots(R) and Rapid Riches MegaJackpots(R) awards, which are paid in their entirety upon verification.
