Checkers(R)/Rally's(R) Leverages NASCAR Sponsorship With National Sweepstakes

Double Drive-Thru Chain Offers $100,000 Grand Prize, VIP trips to Key Races in 2005 and Millions of Food Offers

TAMPA, Fla., June 21 -- Checkers Drive-In Restaurants, Inc. , the nation's largest double drive-thru chain and Official Burger and Drive-Thru Restaurant of NASCAR(R), is offering guests the chance to win $100,000, NASCAR Race Weekend Trips and millions of food offers.

Prizes can be won by playing the Checkers/Rally's $100,000 Double Drive- Thru Challenge Collect & Win and Instant Win Game, which began June 20th and runs through August 31, 2005 (or while supplies last) at participating Checkers and Rally's restaurants. Guests can peel to reveal instant-win prizes or food offers and receive one of the letters needed to spell "NASCAR" for a chance to participate in the Double Drive-Thru Challenge Drawing when they order a large Coke(R)*.

Challenge Drawings of those who correctly spell out "NASCAR" will be conducted to select 10 contestants who will win trips for two to either the Chevy(R) Rock & Roll 400 in Richmond, VA, on September 10, 2005, or the Ford(R) 400 in Homestead, FL, on November 20, 2005. At these races, semi- finalists will be determined by drawing conducted by GeigerDonnelly Marketing, an independent judging organization. Two Semi-Finalists will participate in the Challenge Finalist Drawing, to be held in New York City on or about December 2, 2005, where one will have a chance to win the Challenge Grand Prize of $100,000.
