Honda eyes global sales of 4 mil in 2007

TOKYO July 17, 2005; Japan Today reported that Honda Motor Co aims to increase global car sales by 20% from fiscal 2004 to 4 million units in fiscal 2007, the Nihon Keizai Shimbun reported Sunday.

Honda hopes to achieve the projection by tapping into strong demand in the United States and China, particularly for subcompacts, and also expects domestic car sales to jump 10%, the business daily said. (Kyodo News)
