DaimlerChrysler Services Road Rally Thursday, Aug. 11 to Benefit Local Farmington/Farmington Hills Community

WHAT: One hundred DaimlerChrysler Services employees will roll out of the Farmington Hills headquarters parking lot in 25 brand new Chrysler, Jeep(R), Dodge and Mercedes-Benz vehicles to make a total of five stops, each representing a donation of time or items to a local charity. Employee teams must follow word clues to determine the landmarks that will lead them along their route.

          9:00 a.m. remarks and waving of the starting flag.

DETAILS: 10 a.m. the community outreach will begin with recipient agencies including:

  Eight Mile Boulevard Association
  Boys and Girls Republic
  Arts and Scraps
  City of Farmington Hills Adult Senior Division
  St. Vincent and Sarah Fisher

OTHER: The teams end their day at noon at the St. Vincent and Sarah Fisher Center where they will donate gift certificates for young mothers and their children to purchase socks, towels and other essentials.
