The Lili Claire Foundation was founded in 1998 by casting director Leslie Litt-Resnick and her husband, producer, Keith Resnick when their daughter, Lili Claire, died of heart complications related to Williams syndrome.

Williams syndrome is a neurogenetic birth defect resulting in serious physical problems as well as severe to moderate retardation. The mission of The Lili Claire Foundation is to provide a happy, productive, fully integrated life for individuals living with Williams syndrome and other neurogenetic birth defects such as Down syndrome and autism, and to provide hope and resources for the families who love them through their family resource centers at University of California, Los Angeles, University of Nevada, School of Medicine and Vanderbilt University.

Consistent with DaimlerChrysler's values to be compassionate and support communities, the foundation supports comprehensive, community-based programs and services to enhance all aspects of the individual's life -- psychological, educational and vocational -- from infancy to adulthood.

The Lili Claire Foundation's Eighth Annual Benefit Dinner, sponsored by Chrysler Financial and Chrysler Group's West Business Center is being hosted by Matthew Perry and will be held on Saturday, October 15 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif. Chrysler Group's West Business Center and Chrysler Financial have graciously donated an all-new 2006 Dodge Charger to be live auctioned during the event.
