Snap-on Incorporated, Its Associates and Franchisees Join Together for Hurricane Katrina Relief

KENOSHA, Wis.--Sept. 2, 2005--Snap-on Incorporated announced today that its associates and franchisees are joining with the American Red Cross to provide relief to victims of Hurricane Katrina. In addition, the company has set up a fund to directly assist those Snap-on franchisees and associates who have been affected by the natural disaster.

Snap-on will match every dollar contributed by its associates and franchisees to both the Red Cross and Snap-on Associate and Dealer Fund and has made an initial corporate contribution to each fund. In addition, the company is providing assistance and support to its affected franchisees, associates and their families.
