Advance: Make that Weekend Corvette Emissions-Free

Any interest in taking a look at how two unlikely partners have turned a
love for the road into an asset in efforts to reduce greenhouse gas
emissions?

You've probably heard of recent initiatives in the EU and other Kyoto
participants to restrict greenhouse gas levels through carbon cap-and-trade
programs - but what's happening here in the States? With the current
administration bowing out of Kyoto, two guys from California - a clean
energy guru and a car fanatic - are taking matters into their own hands.

Next week Renewable Ventures, a national clean energy project VC, will be
announcing it's first corporate participant in its Certified Clean Car
emissions reduction program. Through the program, Club Sportiva, an exotic
car timeshare, will be making the company's entire luxury fleet carbon
neutral. Think Corvettes, Ferraris and Bentleys that contribute no
greenhouse gases - even a hybrid can't beat that.

Any interest in taking a look at how and why these two are:
* offsetting carbon emissions from these gorgeous cars with renewable energy
and carbon credits,
* keeping those credits out of the hands of non-renewable sources,
* and upping the real $ value of renewable energy in one fell swoop.

We'll be announcing on Tuesday the 13th - can I send you an embargoed copy
of the release? Can I help answer any questions?

Best,
Rosalind
