Sense Technologies, Inc. Receives Three Patent Allowances for ScopeOut Mirror System

GRAND ISLAND, Neb.--Oct. 3, 2005--Sense Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB:SNSG) announced it has received a notice of allowance on a utility patent application, U.S. serial no. 10/928,378 on ScopeOut(R) for SUVs, minivans and any similarly-designed vehicles. The notice resulted in an allowance of 29 out of 33 requested claims. In addition, the U.S. Patent Office issued a notice of allowance on two new design patents, bringing ScopeOut(R)'s total patents to five, with additional patents pending.

ScopeOut(R), which just became available for retail and web sales this month, is a system of aerodynamic mirrors that are strategically placed on the vehicle. With ScopeOut(R), car, minivan and SUV owners are able to see children, traffic, or even pets, approaching a vehicle from down the street or sidewalk. Shrubbery, high-profile cars, walls and buildings can all block a driver's view as he or she is backing out of a driveway or parking space. With ScopeOut(R), drivers can see approaching traffic and other hazardous situations, enabling them to stop well in advance of a collision. This simple safety device easily installs on vehicles within minutes, and it provides a panoramic rear view of approaching vehicles or pedestrians, including small children down the street or sidewalk. In moving traffic, ScopeOut(R) also has the ability to protect drivers from blind spots in lane changes, which are the cause of thousands of injuries and costly accidents each year.

According to Arizona-based Lowell Martinson, inventor of ScopeOut(R) and vice president of Operations for Sense Technologies, Inc., "We feel the patents validate the many ways in which this break-through product is unique. We strongly believe that vehicles can be made safer by installing ScopeOut(R), which offers substantial safety protection to those inside and outside of the vehicle while it is reversing or changing lanes."
