SANTA ROSA, CA Jan 11, 2006; Rotoblock Corporation (OTC BB:ROTB.OB - News) announced today that the OPE (Oscillating Piston Engine) has been started for the first time. The test plan called for what was originally termed "Single ignition event." The engines ran under its own power for a number of ignition cycles.

The first fully operational test run of OPE confirmed the soundness and validity of the overall design and served to verify the fundamental operational capability of the engine. All mechanical parts of OPE engine have performed as designed during the combustion process. After careful examination and analysis of the test data, Rotoblock Inc. will move to the next test phase. In this phase the engine will be run at higher rpm for longer durations.
