New Auto Messenger Display Helps Fight Against Road Rage

DETROIT, Feb. 8, 2006 -- Autoplas Corp., manufacturer and distributor of the Auto-Messenger Display, today announced its availability to the public.

The Auto-Messenger Display is a device designed to help drivers communicate when the need arises. It includes a small remote control and an LED electronic display panel. The small remote control may be placed in the desired location for easy access.

Millions of drivers who have run out of gas, get lost, or need help and watched drivers pass them by will now be able to communicate to other drivers using the Auto-Messenger Display.

With polite communications among drivers, road rage can be reduced dramatically. For example, you may show another driver "Sorry" for your apology when you cut into a line by accident.

Preprogrammed words, phrases, signs or combined messages are stored in a read/write memory section of the LED electronic display panel. It is easy to use. Messages may be displayed with the simple press of a button. The LED display panel may be mounted on/near the rearview window of an automobile.

There are generally two categories: the basic model and advanced model. Both of them are easy to install and can be used by simply pressing a button that displays a message that is viewable up to 50 feet away. One of the basic models, called CB-5006-100, is the simple and economical model. Another choice called CB-5006-200, can show four phrases of "THANKS", "SORRY", "PLEASE", and "HELP".

These may fit most traffic courteous situations for the general population. A thirteen-foot long cord is supplied for a power connection to the 12V DC car cigarette lighter. An advanced model, called CA-3514-100, allows the display messages to be programmed with the use of a remote control (similar to your cell phone message entry). Sets of phrases, words, and numbers may be preprogrammed in the device with a limit of up to 256 characters per message and a total of 10 messages.

The cost for the basic Auto Messenger Display is $49.99 and the advanced model is $149.99.
