Toronto - February 22, 2006:With a passion for cars and an exuberance for life, Richard and Paige Udell are a traveling husband and wife team, visiting car shows around the North American continent. With them, they bring the Instigator, a streamlined and modernized '34 Phantom Chevrolet and Hoochie Mama, their Miniature Pincher. With hundreds of modifications and an unparalleled electronics system, the Instigator must be seen live in order to understand the time and dedication put into this spectacular vehicle. The Instigator is on display all three days of the Performance World Custom Car & Truck Show from March 10-12, 2006 at the International Centre (6900 Airport Road).

"When we designed the Instigator, we were looking for a vehicle that was the equivalent of a backyard bully with a higher education," says Richard. "It has been a 25 year journey to get the car to this level of polish and sophistication. The best part has been meeting people along the way, who we would never have met if it hadn't been for our association with vehicles," he adds.

By keeping continual relations open between the builder and the owners, the Instigator was created with an attention to detail and style that mimicked, with precision, the original illustrations of the Udell's concept. The concept incorporated a subtle theme of smooth flowing lines that follow throughout the car including chassis, body and interior. The colour scheme does the same, using a combination of Dupont Hot Hues Blackened and Scarlet Fever divided by a fine line of Shamrock Green. Incredibly, the Udells saw the car only twice before taking possession of the vehicle, relying on faxes, emails and telephone calls to keep in regular communication with builder Mike Rutter of Rutterz Rodz.
