AutobyTel's CarTV Provides Cablevision Product

IRVINE, Calif.--March 7, 2006--Autobytel Inc. today announced that its CarTV video programming division has been chosen to provide on demand vehicle videos for Cablevision Systems Corp.'s Optimum Autos(SM) interactive car shopping channel, available to Cablevision's more than 2 million iO digital cable subscribers throughout its New York metropolitan service area on channel 605 and on www.OptimumAutos.com. Optimum Autos will initially feature 100 CarTV new vehicle video reviews on demand, with additional CarTV videos to be added monthly.

CarTV served nearly 370,000 hours of video programming in 2005 via Autobytel's network of vehicle research/buying sites and other venues, including iTunes and video podcasting. The Company recently expanded its production facilities in Irvine, CA to meet the surging demand for its online/on demand auto programming which, in addition to video reviews and test drives, includes auto news, crash test footage, motorsports/enthusiast/event shows, and hands-on maintenance instruction.

Cablevision's Optimum Autos channel functions like an online automotive research and classifieds site, featuring more than 50,000 new and used vehicle listings from hundreds of dealers. Utilizing the channel's interactive features, users can also access comprehensive information on vehicles and browse on demand video clips of new cars and trucks.
