BOSTON - April 28, 2007: Are you a "high Caliber" college student, attending a university in the Boston area? Do you like road trips? Are you and your friends looking for a challenge to kick-off your summer break? If so, then the Dodge High Caliber Challenge is for you.

One lucky team of three Boston-area students will be selected to go head-to-head with teams from Chicago and Dallas to road trip their way to Miami in the all-new 2007 Dodge Caliber and help raise awareness for the Global Music Project, benefiting Doctors Without Borders. For their efforts, each member of the winning team could win a 24-month lease on a Dodge Caliber.

"The Dodge High Caliber Challenge gives college students a chance to experience and win the boldest new compact car on the market today, while raising awareness and money for the Global Music Project," said Tom Loveless, Dodge Marketing & Global Communications. "Equipped with a Chill Zone(TM) beverage storage bin, MusicGate Power(TM) liftgate speakers, available MP3 jack and a self-charging removable flashlight, the all-new Dodge Caliber has all the essentials for a road trip."

Interested students will be asked to submit an essay on why they want to take this road trip and how they will use the all-new Dodge Caliber to raise awareness for the Global Music Project during the five day road-trip. Participants must be traditional full-time college students between the ages of 18 and 25 who are enrolled in an accredited college or university during the 2006 spring semester. Complete contest rules, eligibility requirements and entry form can be viewed online at www.dodgehighcaliberchallenge.com.

The Road Trip

The week-long adventure will begin on Monday, June 5 and conclude in Miami on Friday, June 9. Departing from their respective cities, Boston, Chicago or Dallas, each team will travel a designated route that will take them through various cities and states during their journey to Miami.

Along the way, each team will be challenged to use the Dodge Caliber to creatively raise awareness for the Global Music Project, a non-profit organization that allows individuals to download songs for a minimum donation of $1 per song with proceeds going to select charities. All of the money raised during the Dodge High Caliber Challenge will be donated to Doctors Without Borders.

The student teams will stage events with the Dodge Caliber to encourage the local communities to download songs from the Global Music Project Web site. Points will be awarded to each team for successfully executing awareness-raising events in each city, involving community members in their charitable efforts, and updating blog sites with photos and daily journal entries that highlight their experiences on the road in the Dodge Caliber. On June 9 in Miami, all three teams will unite to participate in one final philanthropic activity. Following the completion of the philanthropic event, Dodge will announce the team that earned the most points as the winner of the High Caliber Challenge and will award each team member with a grand prize of a 24-month lease on an all-new 2007 Dodge Caliber.

The 2007 Dodge Caliber takes a new slant on the entry-level vehicle segment by combining high value with bold styling and clever features. At a starting U.S. MSRP of just $13,985 (including $560 destination), the five-door Caliber blends Dodge attitude with the capability and versatility of a sport- utility vehicle, and the affordability and fuel-efficiency of an entry-level compact car. Its design commands attention and evokes attributes that define the Dodge brand: bold, powerful, capable and street smart.

The Dodge Caliber is chock full of interior features rarely found on entry-level compact vehicles including: MusicGate Power liftgate speakers, Chill Zone cooled beverage storage bin, unique flip pocket for storing a cell phone or an MP3 player and an available dual purpose self-charging removable flashlight.

As a vehicle destined for global markets, the 2007 Dodge Caliber uses innovative new engines and a continuously variable transaxle (CVT) to deliver world-class performance, fuel economy and refinement, no matter where the road leads.
