Father's Day - Give Dad a 'Car-Guy' Day

Celebrating the 'Art of Design' is the Theme for the 2006 EyesOn Design Car Show Series of Events

DETROIT, June 9 -- EyesOn Design, the world's only car show to focus on the emotion and character of automotive design, will showcase the "Art of Design" on Father's Day, Sunday, June 18th. This will be the 19th consecutive year for EyesOn Design, the only show in the world which celebrates automotive design and designers.

EyesOn Design will spotlight fifteen categories and 212 vehicles at this year's show. Each category corresponds with a different art trend that has been reflected in vehicle design styles. Among them will be cars in categories such as Renaissance, Art Deco, Modernism/Futurism and Pop Art.

This Father's Day, give Dad a card, perhaps buy him a tie, but why not start an annual tradition of treating Dad to EyesOn Design car show and brunch. The brunch, catered by nationally recognized Forte Belanger, is a kick off to the internationally acclaimed car show.

Your dad is sure to find a car to speed up his heart rate as he accompanies Channel 4 news reporter, Guy Gordon and AutoZone owner, car designer, Steve Pasteiner on the unique Strolling Award Ceremony following the brunch.

If you want to display some much appreciated imagination for Father's Day, try EyesOn Design, the Private Eyes Brunch, and give your dad a Father's Day present he'll truly enjoy.

Tickets for the car show, $20. $100 tickets include brunch and the car show. Complete listing of EyesOn Design events at http://www.eyeson.org/ . Call 313-824-4710 or purchase tickets online at http://www.acteva.com/go/eyeson .
