New 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe Pricing Announced

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., June 22 -- Hyundai Motor America has announced pricing for the all-new 2007 Santa Fe. Arriving at dealerships this month, the Santa Fe is a stylish, refined crossover with class-leading safety, versatility and quality, offering consumers an upscale and sleek alternative to conventional compact and mid-size SUVs.

With a base price below its predecessor, the all-new Santa Fe is available in three trim levels -- GLS, SE and Limited -- and offers a choice of fuel-efficient V6 powertrains, and exciting new features inside and out, including available fold-flat third-row seating, rear seat DVD system, and a 605-watt Infinity(R) Logic7 Surround 10-speaker audio system.

All Santa Fe models are equipped with segment-leading standard safety technologies, including a total of six airbags, active front head restraints, Electronic Stability Control (ESC) with Traction Control System (TCS), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Brake Assist and Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) and Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).

Later this year, Santa Fe adds standard XM satellite radio and optional Bluetooth hands-free phone connectivity, with an optional navigation system available in 2007.

Santa Fe GLS

Santa Fe GLS comes well-equipped with a 185-horsepower, 2.7-liter V6 engine, five-speed manual transmission, ESC, ABS, 16-inch alloy wheels, 112-watt AM/FM/CD/MP3 audio system with six speakers, rocker panel moldings, heated power side mirrors, power windows, power door locks and remote keyless entry. A sophisticated roof rack with easy-to-operate sliding cross rails is also standard. Standard safety features include active front head restraints, dual front airbags, front seat side-impact airbags plus side curtain airbags. Also included are a tire pressure monitoring system, air conditioning and a tilt and telescoping steering wheel. A four-speed SHIFTRONIC(R) automatic transmission and Premium Package, which includes a power tilt/slide glass sunroof and heated front seats, are optional. The GLS Touring Package includes seven-passenger seating with a fold-flat third-row seat and third-row auxiliary climate control.

Santa Fe SE

The SE adds the 242-horsepower, 3.3-liter V6, five-speed SHIFTRONIC(R) automatic transmission, 18-inch alloy wheels, electrochromic auto-dimming rearview mirror with compass, front fog lights and steering wheel audio controls. An optional SE Premium Package adds a power driver seat with power lumbar support, a power tilt/slide glass sunroof, heated front seats and HomeLink(R). The available Ultimate Package includes the Premium Package features, plus a rear-seat entertainment system with an eight-inch LCD monitor, 252-watt AM/FM/CD-changer/MP3 audio system with seven speakers (including subwoofer) and external amplifier, and a 115-volt power outlet. The SE Touring Package includes seven-passenger seating with the fold-flat third-row seat and third-row auxiliary climate control.

Santa Fe Limited

Santa Fe Limited comes standard with all of the equipment found on the SE, and adds leather seating surfaces, heated front seats, power driver seat with power lumbar support, dual zone automatic temperature control with outside temperature display and HomeLink(R). A chrome grille and exterior door handles, as well as a bodycolor hatch spoiler, further distinguish the Limited. A tilt/slide glass sunroof is offered as a stand-alone option. For even greater luxury, the available Ultimate Package includes a sunroof, rear-seat entertainment system with an eight-inch LCD monitor, a 605-watt Infinity(R) Logic7 Surround AM/FM/CD-changer/MP3 audio system with 10 speakers (including subwoofer) and external amplifier, 115-volt power outlet and power front passenger seat. The Limited Touring Package adds seven-passenger seating and third-row auxiliary climate control.
