St. Petersburg, Fla. (July 11, 2006) - Celebrity car magazine, the
leading trend-spotting guide for the latest celebrity car collections
and accessories, zooms in on the automotive lifestyles of musicians,
sports superstars, and actors in its Summer 2006 issue. Headlining the
issue is an exclusive profile of MTV VJ LaLa Vasquez who shows off her
pink Range Rover, a true extension of her personality designed to match
her cell phone. Other profiles in the Summer issue include Saudi
Arabia's Prince Khaled, Grammy-winning group Los Lonely Boys,
skateboarding champ Bucky Lasek, Indy-car driver Tony Kanaan, and
wakeboarding pro Maeghan Major. The summer issue, on newsstands July 11,
also previews some of the hottest racing video games that were on
display at the Electronic Entertainment Expo.

 

LaLa Vasquez - MTV VJ Is Pretty in Pink

Celebrity car joined MTV VJ LaLa Vasquez in Denver, where she and
boyfriend, Denver Nugget Carmelo Anthony, stand out as local
celebrities. With no fear of the spotlight, LaLa cruises the Denver
streets in a dark pink, tricked-out Range Rover that was painted to
match her cell phone.  The lights and wheels are also pink.

unique ways to customize their cars as an extension of their
personality, especially matching the paint and accessories to their

Prince Khaled - Bringing Luxury Custom Cars to a Global Level

Celebrity car takes a trip to the Middle East to spend time with His
Royal Highness, and passionate luxury-car enthusiast, Prince Khaled of
Saudi Arabia.  Prince Khaled is no stranger to the ultimate luxuries, as
his father, Prince Alwaleed bin Talal bin Abdulaziz Alsaud, has been
ranked by Forbes as the eighth richest man in the world and his
great-grandfather was the founding king of Saudi Arabia. Prince Khaled
opens up the doors to his 460,000-square-foot palace and the custom
garage that houses his favorite sports and luxury cars, including a
highly customized 2005 Mustang GT complete with a silver center console
and a PlayStation 2.  

 

Los Lonely Boys - Showing the True Meaning of "Garage Band"

Celebrity car visits the "Texican Chop Shop" of Grammy-winning artists
Los Lonely Boys as they present their stable of classic cars that embody
their mission of "bringing rides to life." With the Grammy success of
their hit song "Heaven," the Garza brothers of Los Lonely Boys, Henry,
Jojo, and Ringo, have had the chance to make their dreams come true by
opening a shop that allows them to find and fix cars. The classic cars,
restored to perfection, include a '67 GTO, a '69 Charger RT and a '52
Chevy Coupe and a few newer American cars such as a silver 2006 Charger
RT and a '04 Denali.

 

Bucky Lasek - Skateboard Champion Goes Hands-On To Customize His M3

With a passion for customizing cars that started early in his childhood,
high-flying skateboard champion Bucky Lasek shows Celebrity car his
fully customized 2003 BMW M3. Stepping away from the ramps, Bucky Lasek
now takes his love of tricks to his M3 and shows off his AC Schnitzer
mods, Borla exhaust, and many other striking additions.

 

Tony Kanaan - Racing On and Off the Track

Feeling no need to slow down after his race ends, Indy-car driver Tony
Kanaan cruises into Celebrity car with his enviable collection of exotic
cars. The gem of his collection, the Ferrari 360 Stradale, keeps him
closest to the track, as he feels it most closely approximates the drive
of a Formula One car. In addition to his Ferrari, Tony's garage includes
a Range Rover, a Porche Cayenne Turbo, and a voice-controlled '06 Acura
RL.  

 

Maeghan Major - Making a Splash with Her Car Collection

Taking a break from her gravity defying stunts, wakeboarding champion
Maeghan Major gives Celebrity car a chance to check out her 2005
Volkwagen Touareg, 1987 Porche 911 Turbo Slant Nose, and 1987 Ferrari
Testarossa. Although the Touareg spends a lot of time hauling her boat
back and forth between home and the water, it is her "work of art"
Ferrari Testarossa that gets the most attention.

 

Electronic Entertainment Expo - Putting Everyone in the Virtual Driver's
Seat

Celebrity car got a front row pass to test drive some of the hottest
racing video games that are on their way to store shelves.  2006 is set
to be a banner year in racing video games with new systems like the Xbox
360, Playstation 3 and Nintendo Wii taking car gaming to a new and much
more realistic level. Celebrity car previewed Gran Turismo HD and played
new games such as Excite Truck and F1 06. They also sat down with Forza
Motorsport 2 director Dan Greenawalt to learn the secrets behind the
sequel to last year's best-rated racing game and the new multiplayer
online capabilities.
