The 2007 Nissan Lineup - Charting the Changes

PHOTO

The comprehensive lineup of Nissan cars, trucks, and SUVs expands in the 2007 model year with the introduction of the all-new entry-level Versa, which will be available in sedan and hatchback body styles.  In addition, two of Nissan’s most successful models, Altima and Sentra, are offered in new generations for the 2007 model year.  Rounding out the year of significant updates are Quest and Maxima, both of which have received extensive interior and exterior restyling.

Also highlighting the changes for 2007 is the expanded application of Nissan’s advanced Xtronic CVTä (Continuously Variable Transmission), which is newly available in the Maxima, Altima, Sentra and Versa (as well as continuing as standard equipment on the 2007 Murano).  The Xtronic CVT is a responsive, fuel-efficient transmission design that offers the feel of “one gear,” and eliminates the “steps” between gears for a far smoother drive than traditional automatic transmissions.  Also, Nissan’s Intelligent Key keyless entry system is offered as an option in a number of 2007 models.

Following is an overview of Nissan product highlights for the 2007 model year:
