PHOENIX - July 18, 006: At the Volvo Cars test site in the Arizona desert, engineers test the cars' reliability, development, emission and fuel consumption and the instruments' ability to withstand temperatures of more than 110 degrees Fahrenheit (43 degrees Celsius.) Special dust tests also ensure the inside of the car and engine are as dust-free as possible.
