Private Investors Fund 540 hp Prototype for Turbine Truck Engines, Inc.

DELAND, Fla.--July 26, 2006--Turbine Truck Engines, Inc. (TTE) announced today that a small group of private investors from Canada have committed up to $460,000 in funding over the next 6 months to finalize the completion of the 540 hp "Detonation Cycle Gas Turbine" (DCGT) Engine Prototype.

The DCGT is a Air Cooled, Lightweight, Flex-Fueled Engine and will utilize up to 30% Less Fuel than today's engines; operate on Ethanol, Gasoline, Diesel, Propane, or Hydrogen; have Cold Start Capabilities with any fuel; produce 30% Less Emissions and Greenhouse Exhaust Gases; and operate without Lube Oil, Filters or Pumps.
