Camping World Announces Grand Opening of New SuperCenter in Longmont, Colorado

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.--Sept. 14, 2006--

America's Largest Retailer of RV and Outdoor Supplies and Accessories Opens SuperCenter Along Side FreedomRoads Dealer K&C RV

Camping World, America's largest retailer of RV and outdoor supplies and accessories, today announced the Grand Opening of a new SuperCenter in Longmont, Colorado between Fort Collins and Denver. It is co-located with FreedomRoads dealer K&C RV off of I-25 at 4050 Camelot Circle.

The new Camping World of Longmont is the rapidly growing retailer's 56th store. The facility has 4,000 square feet of retail space and stocks 8,000 RV and outdoor supplies and accessories. Camping World of Longmont is able to provide customers with expert repair and installation services with its state-of-the-art service bays and body shop within the co-located facility.

According to General Manager Stan Smith, "The expansion from an Xpress store to a full SuperCenter is great for Camping World customers as they will have more access to our full range of thousands of products. We're also excited to be kicking this off with a fun Grand Opening."

The Grand Opening will take place between Thursday, September 14th and Sunday September 17th with daily door prizes, a prize wheel, and free lunch from 11 a.m through 1 p.m. In addition, there will be daily demonstrations on how to install and apply ADCO RV covers.

Camping World President Mark Boggess said, "The team at Camping World of Longmont has done a great job of efficiently expanding the store and the Grand Opening should be a wonderful time for everyone. Camping World has grown significantly this year and there are big plans for further growth by 2008 where we expect to be up over 100 stores nationwide."

The brisk expansion of Camping World is well timed to respond to growing consumer demand as the outlook for the RV and RV supplies and accessories market burgeons, topping lists of US growth industries. A recent study by the University of Michigan's Survey Research Center found that one in 12 U.S. vehicle-owning households now own an RV. There are now 7.9 million households in the U.S. with a RV. This figure indicates a 58 percent rise in RV ownership since 1980. This study also anticipates similar growth in the future, thus providing the catalyst for additional Camping World stores across the country.
