Dodge Unveils "Avenger " at Paris Motor Show (Video)

Paris Motor Show September 29, 2006; Dodge may expand the D-segment (mid-size sedan market) with its Avenger concept.

The four-door vehicle, which was presented during the Mondial de l'Automobile Paris 2006, uses a 2.0-liter turbo diesel engine and offers a lower rear diffuser to reduce vehicle drag and improve fuel efficiency.

Chrysler Group officials say the Avenger is similar to a sports vehicle with features like 19-inch five-spoke painted Satin Silver wheels, an inferno red body color and fold-away mirrors.

If the vehicle goes into production, the Dodge Avenger concept will be sold in markets outside North America.
