Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum News Release - Bring in the New Year at the Museum

AUBURN - The Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum invites the public to celebrate the arrival of 2007 with "A Classic New Year's Eve," Sunday, Dec. 31.

The ITT Conglomernotes will again provide Big Band music for dancing. Revelers may choose among two ticket options and an overnight package this year:

Dinner/Dance Package: $60 per person. Dinner served at 7:30 p.m. at the museum in Willennar Hall. Doors will open at 7:00 p.m. The evening will include an upscale dinner and dance package. Dancing will begin at 9:30 p.m. featuring a cash bar, hors d'oeuvres, champagne toast at midnight and party favors.

Dance Package: $30 per person. Attend only the dance from 9:30 p.m.-1 a.m. and enjoy the cash bar, hors d'oeuvres, champagne toast at midnight and party favors. Doors open at 9:00 p.m.

Tickets for the dinner/dance and the dance only may be purchased by telephone with a Visa or MasterCard by calling the museum at 260-925-1444, or in person at the admission desk.

Auburn Inn Overnight Package: $129.99, double occupancy. This package includes complimentary bottle of wine, breakfast with late check-out at 2 p.m., Belgium waffles, omelets prepared to order, and free shuttle service to and from the museum. "A Classic New Year's Eve" is one of several museum events scheduled during the year. The museum also hosts numerous receptions, business seminars and meetings and other gatherings in Willennar Hall and the Auburn, Cord and Duesenberg meeting rooms.

The Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum exhibits 120 classic, antique, vintage and special interest cars in eight galleries of the restored 1930 art deco national headquarters of the former Auburn Automobile Company.
