"It is a great honor to be named Global Student Entrepreneur of the year for 2006. I want to thank Mercedes Benz Financial for sponsoring such a great event to recognize young entrepreneurs, as well as the members of the Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO) that attended the event and volunteered their time to be judges." said Mike Brown, GSEA 2006 winner, "If I could use one word to sum up how I feel right now it would be 'thankful.' Thankful for all of the support I have received over the years from my family, friends, and mentors, and also thankful that the GSEA awards exist. Nobody could have done what I have done by themselves, and I recognize and appreciate all of the support I have received now and will receive in the future. That support from other people is what the conference in Chicago was all about -- through this networking experience I can only begin to imagine the future possibilities for my business."
