Aston Martin Qualifies For Car-sitting

At Regent South Beach, Luxury Vehicles are the New VIP Guest

MIAMI, Dec. 15 -- In celebration of its grand opening, The Regent South Beach launches an offering perfect for the wheels-obsessed scene of South Beach: nightly car turndown service and -- for an elite few -- overnight car-sitting. The nightly tuck-in is available to all guest cars, but the car-sitting service will be offered only to qualifying luxury vehicles -- Aston Martins, Bentleys, Ferraris, etc. -- in South Beach's grand tradition of vehicular scrutiny. Applications for the car-sitting service, requiring data on make, model, year and condition of the automobile, will be available at check-in.

Turndown service will include a wash and wax, interior vacuuming, tire pressure check and a daily front-seat gift for the driver to enjoy the next morning. The car-sitting service offers guests a dedicated and doting valet who will closely monitor their car in the hotel's on-site parking garage until sunrise.

The Regent South Beach's ability to offer an on-site parking garage is itself a unique service in the Art Deco District. Although an impressive car is one of any visitor's most important accessories, South Beach has precious few spots for parking, especially on hotel grounds. As the first top-to-bottom new build in the Art Deco District since the early 1950's, the Regent South Beach lays claim to one of the only on-property garages in the area.

"South Beach is a uniquely impassioned market when it comes to cars," said Helena Blat, general manager for the hotel. "For more than a few of our clientele, they could be in the most luxurious room imaginable, and their thoughts at night will still be on their car -- is it being cared for? Sufficiently admired? We want to assure our guests that all their cars' needs are being met at all hours, so they can focus on the singular experience The Regent South Beach provides."

The Regent South Beach combines a modern Art Deco design and dynamic ambience with the refinement and sense of place of the Regent Luxury Brand. Balconies measure a minimum 200 square feet and climb to an expansive 700 feet on the 27 rooftop terraces. Each individual rooftop terrace is outfitted with a Roman hot tub; wet bar; stereo system; retractable roof; facilities for sunning, dining, entertaining and spa treatments; as well as ocean or city views.

Other noteworthy features include: a stylish glass-panel pool with mosaic waterfalls; South Beach-inspired spa treatments such as "Hot Tub Detox" and "Body Shots"; direct-dial Regent Pocket Butler phones for off-site communication with butler, concierge, house car and guest services; elaborate en-suite dining and entertaining menus; and signature food and beverage venues Table 8 South Beach and Table 8 Lounge, serving market-fresh cuisine. The Regent South Beach is the first top-to-bottom new-build hotel in Miami's historic Art Deco District since the early 1950's, designed by world-renowned architects Arquitectonica with interiors by Lynn Wilson Associates.
