What a Woman Wants Behind the Wheel 2007 Audi Q7 4.2

Women know how to balance life, and it can begin with the vehicle they own. The Audi Q7 provides balance – balance at home, balance in your professional life, and balance with being true to yourself. When Audi designed the Q7 4.2, this was the type of woman they had in mind, and they demonstrated their instincts by providing What a Woman Wants Behind the Wheel.

The Audi’s version of the SUV comes in two models – Audi Q7 3.6 and 4.2. The differences between the two are noticeable but your decision can be based on price, needs and customization. This is a factor that most women appreciate – they can determine the value of their vehicle by customizing to meet their needs.

“I drove the Q7 4.2 and it was the total package when it came to driving,” commented journalist, Donna Vissing. “Luxury was found throughout the vehicle, exterior and interior, with attention to safety not sacrificed in any way. Driving during very wet and windy conditions, the SUV impressively hugged to the road.” This superior capability is completely credited to the ESP roll-over sensing system and Quattro 4-wheel drive.

Audi introduced the first four-wheel drive in March 1980 at the Geneva Motor Show, with the idea going into development beginning in 1977 for the sports coupe model. Over the years the idea of distributing power over all four wheels, giving the vehicle superior traction and cornering, just became an Audi trademark. The Q7 is the latest Audi model to come out with Quattro 4-wheel drive. Add to this, the 4.2 also provides 5 levels of car suspension; at the touch of a button you can transform the SUV from a recreational vehicle, to one traveling highway miles smoothly and efficiently.

As you approach the vehicle, there is another added safety feature – the advanced key with automatic engine start-up. Women drivers enjoy this feature because it lights the vehicle up allowing you to see inside before opening the door. There are many other safety features but a new one to most models is the heated outside rear view mirrors; just another way to prepare the vehicle, in all kinds of weather, to provide a safe and smooth ride.

The Audi Q7 4.2 creates a great first impression with the sleek aerodynamic look of a sporty vehicle, yet the classic front-end grille reassures you it is a member of the Audi family. The 4.2 has a 350 hp V8 and the 3.6 has the 280 hr V6; they both offer efficient FSI Direction injection engines.

The interior just swallows you up in luxury, making any drive an experience to eagerly anticipate. “There are so many things I love about this vehicle, but three that rise to the top are the DVD-based Audi Navigation System, SIRIUS Satellite Radio and panorama sunroof,” observed Vissing. “My person vehicle is a 2001 Volvo S70, and I have the leather front-heated seats, power controls for steering wheel, seats and windows, and other premium add-ons including a sunroof, just like the Q7. But the three features I’ve listed above sky-rocket the driving experience in the Q7 4.2 making it not even comparable to my personal vehicle!”

The Q7 4.2 Premium interior includes both front and rear heated seats, with the adaptability of either having third-row seating for two additional passengers or increasing your storage space. The second row of seating offers a special designed center console with dual cup holders, adjustable tabs and an extra 12-volt power outlet. The SUV can accommodate a maximum of seven passengers. There is also rear climate control, heated steering wheel, and the advanced parking system with a rearview camera that will let you know if you are close to bumping an object.

“I found the SUV extremely easy to drive and navigate around tight spots,” observed Vissing. “The vehicle has great visibility through the side and front windows with no interior obstructions. The side and rearview mirrors provide needed coverage for maneuvering and the navigation screen displays the rear camera view when backing out.” The 2007 Audi Q7 is the first SUV for Audi, and they couldn’t have created a smoother riding vehicle, with there most likely being a comparison to its competitor, the Lexus.

Audi provides many options giving you complete freedom to customize the Audi Q7 that works best for you. The base price for the 2007 Audi Q7 3.6 begins at $39,900 with the Premium beginning at $45,900. The Q7 4.2 starts at $49,900 and the Premium begins at $59,900.
