OnStar, MapQuest Direct New Partnership - VIDEO STORY

DETROIT - April 29, 2007: GM's OnStar has announced plans to partner with the online direction Web site MapQuest. Through the deal, OnStar subscribers can log on to MapQuest, pull up directions to their destination and hit the "Send to OnStar" link. In turn, these directions will be routed to the subscriber's vehicle, where he/she will then hear OnsStar's turn-by-turn navigation system guide them to their final destination. GM officials say this new service can store up to five destinations at a time, all of which can be retrieved at any point in time. A pilot program for select OnStar subscribers is scheduled to begin in the summer of 2007.
