COLOGNE - JULY 3, 2007: Formula 1 is all about racing but away from the competitions, a different kind of race is fundamental to the workings of Panasonic Toyota Racing. For the team’s logistics department, there is a constant race against time to get the cars, spare parts and pieces of equipment, to the track on time. Once on location, around 90 team members need food, transport, hotels and suitable working conditions.

Covering 30,000 kilometers in a race season, seven truckies are dedicated to filling the four trucks with everything the team can possibly need at the track, from light bulbs to spare engine parts. Headquartered in Cologne, Germany, the Panasonic Toyota Racing Team, its Team Manager Richard Cregan and his staff have to manage logistic issues to ensure that the team behind the car is given everything they need to work to the maximum of their ability.
