Ten New Vehicle Brands Obtain China Production Licenses

Ten new car models have recently obtained production licenses from National Development and Reform Commission. Gasgoo.com will give you a brief introduction to these car models.


Benz C

Mercedes-Benz C
The new Benz C series is larger in length and height and is configured with advanced technology such as ESP, front seat airbags and side airbags and BAS.




Sebring

Chrysler Sebring
Chrysler's new model Sebring is powered by 2.0 L engine, and its price is expected to be 160,000 yuan ($21,000). Its relative low price may make it more attractive in the mid segment.



Chery A6
Chery A6 is powered by 2.0TCI engine, and the model is expected to be launched in the market earlier next year. Its market price is expected to be in the range of 150,000 yuan to 200,000 yuan ($20,000-$25,300).

Landwind

Landwind
The Landwind is a model produced by Changan Auto Group, an automaker based in Chongqing Municipality in southwest of China. The model will be powered by 1.6 L engine.





SMA7133 and SMA7153
The two models are sedan made by SMC (Shanghai Maple Company), the two models will be sold in high-end market.

Audi 2.8L
The Audi 2.8L will be powered by 2.8LFSI engine, which is configured on most of Audi¡¯s models. A8 2.8 FSI debuted in September last year, with a maximum speed of 243km/h.

BMW 320i
Before it is localized in China, BMW 320i is an imported model from overseas market. The China-made model will be powered by more advanced engines and 6 speed auto/manual transmission.

Kowin and A5
Kowin and A5 will be configured with different displacement engines. New Kowin will be launched in the low end market while A5 will be positioned in mid end market.

Shuanghuan Xiaoguizu
Shuanghuan Xiaoguizu is in trouble for infringing property rights of Smart ForTwo currently. The new Xiaoguizu will be powered by DA471QL engine and manual transmission.
