Ferrari has sold 130 vehicles in Chinese market in the first nine months this year, and the company hopes to deliver 150 vehicles by year end, Ferrari executive director Jean Todt told a press conference in Shanghai.

Ferrari plans to increase sales in China by 15 percent this year and 20 percent in 2008, Jean Todt said.

"Of the 6,000 vehicles that the company is expecting to build next year, around 1000 units will be sold in the Asia-pacific region and 190 units are expected to reach China," he added.

Ferrari will deliver 430 Scuderia to Chinese market very soon, Todt told the press conference.

Since Ferrari entered Chinese market in 2004, China has become FerrariĄ¯s fastest growing market. The company now has established 12 dealer stores in 10 cities across China.

Todt said the companies will not redesign any vehicles to adapt with China's road conditions since Ferrari is a purpose-built race car and already features exceptional performance.
