AUBURN HILLS, Mich. - Nov. 23, 2007 - Legendary motorsport seat manufacturer RECARO is expanding its line of child safety seats taking its technology and design out of competitive racing and into your back seat. RECARO is introducing five new child safety seats that have been engineered for both safety and comfort.

"Professional racers rely on RECARO seats to provide not only comfort for 24-hour races, but protection in the most extreme and demanding conditions," said Jonathan Sieber, Director of Sales & Marketing for RECARO North America. "RECARO's new child safety seats incorporate years of proven engineering and design to protect your children."

The newest seats include the RECARO COMO and SIGNO, convertible seats designed for children between 5-70 lbs. and up to eight years old. COMO and SIGNO both feature RECARO Side Impact Protection, adjustable headrests, innovative latch bar systems, a racing inspired five-point harness system and a comfortable ergonomic shape that provides an improved upright position for your infant or toddler. Both seats are available in four microfiber cover colors providing parents a choice if they have a boy, girl or both.

The RECARO Vivo lite and Vivo, two new High Back Booster seats for children between 30-100 lbs and up to 12 years old, both feature RECARO Side Impact Protection, reinforced aluminum structure, ventilation system and six adjustable headrest positions.

The latest additions to RECARO's child safety seat line complement its already respected Start and Young Sport seats. "With more than 100 years of company history and long-standing experience in vehicle seat construction, we know how to make safe and comfortable seats - even for our smallest customers," said Sieber.

"As we continue to expand our line of child safety seats we will also be launching the RECARO Picco, a seat specifically designed for infants in spring 2008 and we are examining expansion of our line of high-back booster seats for next summer," said Jonathan Sieber. "RECARO specializes in seats and we've taken race-proven technology to develop a line of seats that will not only protect children, but provide them a comfortable ride whether it's to a family gathering in another state or the local grocery store."
