Bring in the New Year at the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum!

AUBURN - The Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum invites the public to celebrate the arrival of 2008 with "A Classic New Year's Eve," Monday, Dec. 31.

The event will once again feature dinner and dance packages with Big Band dance music provided by the ITT Conglomernotes.

New to the event this year is the option of an upscale served dinner by Goeglein's Catering. The meal will include an appetizer bar with southwestern cheesecake, garden gift vegetables and sausage stuffed mushrooms. The served dinner will include a Caesar salad, romano almond chicken, roasted red potatoes, snow peas & carrots with assorted dinner rolls. A dessert bar and will feature a chocolate fountain with chocolate from DeBrand's Fine Chocolates and many dippers to choose from.

Revelers may choose among two ticket options and an overnight package this year:

Dinner/Dance Package: $60 per person. Dinner will be served at 7:30 p.m. in Willennar Hall. Doors will open at 7:00 p.m. The evening will include an upscale served dinner and dance package. Dancing will begin at 9:30 p.m. featuring a cash bar, hors d'oeuvres, champagne toast at midnight and party favors. Tickets must be purchased by December 28, 2007.

Dance Package: $30 per person. Attend only the dance from 9:30 p.m.-1:00 a.m. and enjoy a cash bar, hors d'oeuvres, champagne toast at midnight and party favors. Doors open at 9:00 p.m. Tickets must be purchased by December 30, 2007.

Tickets for the dinner/dance and the dance only may be purchased by telephone with a Visa or MasterCard by calling the museum at 260-925-1444, or in person at the admission desk.

The Best Western Auburn Inn Overnight Package: $129.99, double occupancy. This package includes free shuttle service to and from the museum, late check-out at 2 p.m. and a champagne breakfast. New Year's Eve dinner or dance tickets are not included with this package, but can be purchased separately.

"A Classic New Year's Eve" is one of several museum fundraising events scheduled during the year. The museum also hosts numerous receptions, business seminars and meetings and other gatherings in Willennar Hall and the Auburn, Cord and Duesenberg meeting rooms.

The Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum - where the world's finest cars of yesterday live today!
