Comcast becomes Charter Sponsor of LeMay - AMERICA'S CAR MUSEUM

(Tacoma, WA) - The LeMay - America's Car Museum(r) is pleased to announce a generous sponsorship from Comcast, the nation's largest provider of cable services. Comcast is providing airtime and will be hosting LeMay - America's Car Museum, on "Comcast Newsmakers," formerly "Comcast Local Edition," a special four-minute program that will be aired more than a dozen times over 14 days throughout Western Washington. This follows a series of TV spots broadcast in December 2007 that advertised the giving of LeMay - America's Car Museum memberships as a holiday gift idea.

"Marketing and promotion of the museum is a costly endeavor and we're indebted to Comcast for helping us reach a much wider audience free of charge through their extensive network" said Museum President and CEO, David Madeira. "We're delighted to have their support."

Anne McMullen, Area Vice President for Comcast, said local employees are pleased to support this sponsorship. "The LeMay - America's Car Museum is an incredible venue, and we are excited to be a part of helping to build the new museum and promote it throughout Washington State," McMullen said. "Our affiliation can help publicize this resource within the greater Puget Sound region. That's good for the museum and it's great for Tacoma's image."

Comcast Corporation (http://www.comcast.com) is the nation's leading provider of cable, entertainment and communications products and services. With 24.1 million cable customers, 12.4 million high-speed Internet customers, and 3.5 million voice customers, Comcast is principally involved in the development, management and operation of broadband cable systems and in the delivery of programming content.
