DETROIT - January 31, 2008: Hummer is expanding its product portfolio and entering the midsize truck market with its 2009 H3T. The vehicle, which is scheduled to make its debut at the Chicago Auto Show, was inspired by the Hummer H3, one of the brand's two sport utility vehicles (SUV). The four-door, five-passenger truck features a 5-foot bed, 32-inch tires, and a standard 3.7-liter, five cylinder engine with 242 horsepower.

Production on the H3T is scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2008 at General Motor's Shreveport, LA assembly plant before rolling into dealerships later this fall.
