2008 NY Auto Show: Maserati GranTurismo S Makes American Debut - NICE VIDEO!

NEW YORK - March 19, 2008: Maserati presents the GranTurismo S to the American market during the New York Motor Show, after its world premiere at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this month. The new car features a 440 HP V8 4.7 engine, with a maximum torque of 490 Nm at 4,750 rpm, electro-actuated gearbox with fast MC Shift, Transaxle layout and brakes made with dual-cast technology. The GranTurismo S has an acceleration from 0 to 100 Km/h at 4.9 seconds and a maximum speed of 295 Km/h, the highest ever reached by a production Maserati.

In 2007, Maserati delivered more than 2,600 units in the United States, marking a 20% growth comparted to the previous year. Approximately 40% of Maserati’s global sales volumes are represented in the US and Canada.
