Toyota and General Motors Vie for Top Honors in Online Automotive Awards

NEW YORK - March 21, 2008: For the second consecutive year, Toyota and General Motors (GM) are vying for the highest total number of awards through IntelliChoice.com’s “Best Overall Value of the Year” awards. The “BOVY’s” look to recognize carmakers whose cost of ownership is significantly lower than expected compared to competitive models in the same class. In its 22nd year, the awards highlight automakers who are delivering desirable, high value vehicles. GM’s recent award accolades speak to the fact that U.S. automakers are headed on the road to a comeback in the race to produce better cars, versus their foreign competitors.
