AURORA, ONTARIO, Canada, April 1, 2008 -- Cosma International, an operating unit of Magna International Inc. and a leading global automotive metalforming supplier, has recently been awarded the 2007 Best Supplier Award by PSA Peugeot Citroen, in the category of technical savings. Out of a total of 800 suppliers that supply PSA Peugeot Citroen, 12 were recognized at an event held on March 12, 2008, in Paris, France. Cosma was the only company to receive an award in this category.

"Cosma continues to be a valued supplier partner, and this award recognizes their technical expertise and commitment to ongoing cost savings," Jean-Christophe Quemard, Vice-President Purchasing for PSA Peugeot Citroen, remarked.

Horst Prelog, President, Cosma International, commented, "Cosma is proud to have been recognized by PSA Peugeot Citroen as a leader in technical savings. It is this collaborative approach between suppliers and customers that is essential in bringing ideas to reality. At Cosma, we look forward to continuing this cost savings activity with PSA Peugeot Citroen and all our global customers."

In the fall of 2007, PSA Peugeot Citroen invited major suppliers to participate in a collaborative costs savings workshop. Cosma submitted a variety of ideas focused primarily on material reduction, as well as in areas of product design and weld process optimization. Since then, several ideas have been implemented into PSA Peugeot Citroen's production environment.
