SOUTH BEND, Ind., April 2, 2008 -- Industrial services provider MISCOR Group, Ltd. (BULLETIN BOARD: MIGL) today announced it has named Edward Matheny as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for its Repair, Remanufacturing and Manufacturing (RRM) Division. Matheny, who recently served as Global Sales Leader for GE Energy-Industrial Services, brings more than 18 years of integrated sales and marketing experience to his new role at MISCOR.

MISCOR (www.miscor.com) said Matheny will oversee the sales and marketing efforts of RRM and its subsidiaries, including Magnetech Industrial Services, 3-D Services, HK Engine Components and MISCOR's newest addition, recently acquired American Motive Power. In addition, he will lead the development of a cross-selling system that will enable each company to leverage the expertise of the others in order to execute the company-wide goal of increased organic growth.

"As we continue to grow and build our roster of products and services, it's critical to have someone like Ed to ensure that both current and prospective customers know the true breadth and depth of our offerings," said John Martell, President and CEO of MISCOR. "His years of leading large, diverse sales teams will enable us to bring the sales teams of new acquisitions up-to-speed faster as we look to speed integration times and maximize performance."

Prior to serving with GE Energy, Matheny was Vice President of Sales for S.D. Meyer, Inc./Ohio Transformer, before it was acquired by GE Energy, where he then served as Global Sales Leader for the Transformer segment.

"MISCOR has a great deal of growth potential, and I'm looking forward to playing an integral role in its ongoing development," said Matheny. "With a strong leadership team and experienced frontline employees, we will be able to create integrated sales programs that help to grow existing clients, and help add new customers to our roster of blue chip clients, all while increasing MISCOR's name recognition and reputation for the highest level of service."

Matheny holds a bachelor's degree in business management from Malone College in Canton, Ohio. He is a President's Club member of the Sandler Sales Institute, holds a Green Belt Certification in Six Sigma and is a graduate of the University of Michigan's Effective Sales Management Program. Matheny will be reporting in a matrix style organizational structure to MISCOR Chief Operating Officer Richard Tamborski and to Magnetech Industrial Services President Bernie DeWees, as well as working very closely with the business leaders of MISCOR's other subsidiaries.
