Cross Country Automotive Services Adds Key Talent to Telematics Business Unit

Cross Country Strengthens Team to Capitalize on Growth and Meet Growing Market Demand for Telematics Services

MEDFORD, Mass., May 13 -- Cross Country Automotive Services (Cross Country) a leading provider of vehicle and driver programs announced today that the company has added key business development and product resources to its expanding Telematics Business Unit. Jon Shapiro, Frank Pellitta and Brian Drury have joined Cross Country to expand and strengthen Cross Country's Telematics team. Building on Cross Country's rich 35-year heritage and technology strength Cross Country offers a variety of Telematics services to automakers and customers alike, including information content, navigation assistance, safety services, vehicle status reports and entertainment products.

Jon Shapiro will serve as Director of Telematics Product and Program Management. In his role, Shapiro will be responsible for leading the development of Cross Country's expanding Telematics product suite. Shapiro joins Cross Country from Cummins Engine, Rockwell International, Qualcomm, General Electric and Skytel Communications where he has spent the last 25 years in senior leadership in the automotive, Telematics and fleet management markets.

Frank Pelitta joins Cross Country as Director of Telematics Business Development. Pelitta brings more than 25 years of sales and marketing experience in electronic technology to Cross Country-more than 10 years of which are in the field of vehicle electronics and Telematics. Past positions include VP of Sales and Marketing for Lectronix Inc, a leader in commercial and military vehicle Telematics and Director of Worldwide Sales-Automotive for QNX Software, the leading real time operating system for automotive Telematics

Brian Drury joins Cross Country as Director of Business Development. Prior to Cross Country Drury worked with Magna Electronics in the implementation and development of advance vehicle safety features including reverse aids and lane departure warning systems. Previously Drury was a senior leader in the sale and implementation of advanced Navigation and Telematics in the automotive OEM domain for Pioneer Automotive Electronics. He will be based in Detroit, MI.

Jon, Frank and Brian will be reporting to Niall Berkery the Vice President of Telematics Business Development.
