GM and EPA Report That 3,000 Miles Oil Change Not Always Needed - VIDEO STORY

SACRAMENTO - June 11, 2008: Depending on a vehicle’s engine and other factors, General Motors (GM) and the California Environmental Protection Agency (Cal/EPA) report some cars can drive more than 3,000 miles before needing an oil change. The two groups, along with California Integrated Waste Management Board (CIWMB), have teamed up as part of a program to educate drivers on the frequency and proper methods needed to changes a car’s oil and avoid excessive waste.
