Jim McDowell, Vice President Of MINI USA, to Address Rising Gas Prices in the United States

WOODCLIFF LAKE, N.J., July 16 -- MINI USA today announced that Jim McDowell, Vice President of MINI USA, will address reporters in the Detroit, MI area on July 22, 2008 regarding rising gas prices in the United States and its impact on the small car marketplace. MINI has consistently established itself as a leader in the premium small car segment.

In the wake of skyrocketing gas prices, many Americans are looking to smaller cars to help ease the pain at the gas pump. McDowell will share his insights on the future of smaller cars in light of the massive structural changes currently taking place in the marketplace. He will also discuss why he believes the world is becoming more MINI every day.

McDowell will address reporters over breakfast at Forte Restaurant in Birmingham, MI, just outside of Detroit, on Tuesday, July 22, 2008 between 9:00 and 10:00 a.m.
