Halloween at The Henry Ford Returns with More Spooky Fun for Boys and Ghouls of All Ages

DEARBORN, Mich., Sept. 18, 2008 - This annual autumn event is back again with even more frightful fun for the entire family. Join us October 10-12, 17-19 and 24-26 as The Henry Ford presents a turn-of-the-20th-century Hallowe’en celebration in Greenfield Village unlike any other. Time slots are available every half hour, from 6:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. Tickets for this special event are $12.75 for members of The Henry Ford, $15 for non-members, and children two and under are free. More than 800 hand-carved jack-o-lanterns illuminate the spooky paths through Greenfield Village that lead to the much-sought-after treat stations manned by the most colorful cast of characters. Beware of those that lurk in the fog – could it be the Headless Horseman?

Even the famed Eagle Tavern will be transformed to provide more good old-fashioned Hallowe’en fun with an exclusive adult dinner package. Listen to the music or play a few ghoulish games before indulging in a candle-lit harvest supper. This special fall feast will include an expanded menu featuring squash apple cider chutney, roasted quail, beefsteak pie, stuffed pumpkin and more. The dinner package, which is available every night of the program, includes admission to Hallowe’en in Greenfield Village.
