BOSTON, MA. Sept, 22, 2008 - The latest Strategy Analytics report on buyer behavior, Interest in Owning a Bluetooth Headset is Up but Users Only Willing to Pay $50, looks at consumer interest in purchasing both mono and stereo Bluetooth headsets in the US and Western Europe. Strategy Analytics Wireless Device Lab survey data shows that interest in purchasing a stereo Bluetooth headset is up considerably from 2006, while interest in mono Bluetooth headsets has also risen.

Despite strong interest in purchasing both mono and stereo Bluetooth headsets, most respondents were only prepared to pay a maximum of $50, commented Paul Brown, Senior User Experience Research Analyst.

Kevin Nolan, VP at Strategy Analytics added, Interest and willingness to pay for mono headsets increases for respondents who spend more time talking on their phones; while interest in stereo headsets is highest among those who listen to music at least once a week.
