Italy's ADR-RPF Launches Axle Plant In Qingdao

Shanghai, December 8, 2008: (Gasgoo.com) Italy's ADR-RPF Group launched production at a new axle plant in the eastern Chinese city of Qingdao, Shandong province, a report from the official Xinhua news agency said Sunday.

Covering a land area of 55,000 square meters, the plant involves total investment of $13 million and will produce many things from parts to finished products, from semi-axles to off-road axles.

When it starts up production in the first stage the plant will reach capacity of 10,000 axles and 50,000 tonnes spare parts annually, with sales revenue of $29 million annually and when it speeds up to its full production, sales revenue is expected to reach $145 million per year.

ADR-RPF Group is headquartered in the historic site of Uboldo, Italy and consists of nine factories scattered in Italy, France, England, Poland, China and Brazil. They mainly produce fixed, steering and suspension axles of varying capacity.
