Miami, FL., March 19, 2009: The world's lightest 21-inch wheel, the new Carlsson 1/5 Evo Ultra Light, is now available in the U.S. through GGI European Tuning. GGI is the exclusive North American importer of the Carlsson brand tuning line for Mercedes Benz automobiles.

Tipping the scales at only 23.8 pounds, the Carlsson 1/5 Evo UL weighs an astonishing 40 percent less than a standard 21-inch cast wheel. This weight advantage translates directly into increasing driving pleasure and agility on the road. Carlsson's high quality production and forged technology also allows them to produce an extremely lightweight product without increasing the number of spokes for strength, thus retaining the five double spokes that characterize it as a part of the Evo wheel family. The brushed finish on the sides of the spokes emphasize the brilliance of the gloss-turned surface and the addition of twenty bolt heads between the spokes adds a dynamic multi-piece look.

Available in 21” x 9” and 21” x 10.5” sizes, this wheel is available for the Mercedes S-class (W221), CL-class (C216) and GLK-class (X204).
