LAUNCESTON, AUSTRALIA – May 4, 2009: Honda – the world’s biggest engine manufacturer – will showcase over 70 products from its huge range at this month’s Agfest in Launceston from May 7-9.

The main feature of the Honda stand will be vehicles from the exciting 2009 Honda range including the all-new City, Civic Si and Odyssey.

Honda’s stand will include cars, motorcycles, ATVs, outboards, personal watercraft, generators, tillers and brush-cutters, including the new BF60 marine outboard motor making its Australian debut on Friday, 8 May.

A stand out for the Honda stand and fresh from its duties at the 2009 Targa Tasmania, is the Honda Civic Type R which performed the role of incident control vehicle throughout the five day event that attracted huge crowds throughout Tasmania.

Honda will also be selling merchandise from its ASIMO Collection. ASIMO, short for Advanced Step in Innovative MObility, is the world’s first humanoid robot and is a milestone in robotics engineering.

All proceeds from the sale of ASIMO merchandise – walking dolls, key-rings, stickers and badges – will be donated to the Launceston City Mission to help people in need.

So come and visit the Honda site, S64-S68 on South Street at Agfest!
