MAPLE CROSS, UNITED KINGDOM – July 20, 2009: NISSAN'S summertime promotional campaign, which provides a host of incentives across the range, kicks off with a £1,000 discount on the new Pixo compact car.

Enabling buyers to own a new Nissan from £5,995 on the road, the saving is among a series of incentives being offered by UK dealerships from now until 30th September 2009.

With CO2 emissions of just 103g/km meaning a £35 annual road tax fee and combined economy of 64.2mpg, the Pixo is cheap to own as well as affordable to buy.

Meanwhile Micra and Note models benefit from the addition of the special edition n-tec trim grade. Positioned between Acenta and Tekna, and costing from £9,995 and £11,640 respectively, this new n-tec duo boast numerous additional niceties including 16-inch alloy wheels and Nissan Connect.

An integrated touch-screen system, Nissan Connect combines a CD/radio sound system with MP3 connection, USB port, bluetooth connectivity and satellite navigation. Proven and popular in the Qashqai n-tec, its fitment to Micra and Note allows small car buyers to enjoy this latest technology.

Micra n-tec is powered by a 1.2-litre 16-valve petrol engine while the Note has a 1.4-litre 16-valve powertrain. Nissan's clean and ultra-frugal 1.5-litre dCi diesel can also be specified in tandem with n-tec trim on both models.

To make financing a new Nissan more affordable, 0% finance, with a minimum 30% deposit, is available on Micra, Note, Qashqai and Qashqai+2 n-tec models.

Alternatively Nissan is also offering low rate 6.9% APR Preferences personal contract plan deals on all Micra, Note, Qashqai and Qashqai+2 models, with no minimum deposits required on Micra and Note.

These low rate finance offers also apply to Nissan's acclaimed 4x4 trio. With a minimum 10% deposit on X-Trail and Pathfinder, and 15% deposit on Navara, all three can be driven away on a three year 6.9% APR Preferences deal.

Combined with Nissan's participation in the Government's Scrappage Scheme, plus the extended scheme for owners of vehicles eight to ten years old trading in against a new British-built model, these offers provide maximum value for new car buyers this summer.
