Chief Executive Carlos Ghosn said the Japanese auto maker intends to
overcome the high cost of making advanced batteries and make its
all-electric cars price-competitive even without government subsidies. Mr.
Ghosn gave a timeframe of around three years for the cost-cutting effort,
though he said the price of oil would play a large role in determining the
effort's success.

tax credit from the Oklahoma State Tax Commission. District Judge Dennis
Hladik issued a two-page ruling stating the plaintiffs who sought an
emergency restraining order against the commission will receive the tax
credit for purchases of low-speed electric vehicles.

total, 7,000 cars will go to 2AM Group of the U.S., while MVP EV Group and

will also take 5,000. Japan's Nippon Automobile Fair Certificate
Association will buy 3,000. GAEA Motors will buy 1,000 cars, and 2,000 will
