HIGH WYCOMBE, UNITED KINGDOM – December 22: What better way to see in the New Year than with a new range of high value, well-equipped special editions?

Set to arrive at retailers in January, new special edition variants of Hyundai’s best selling i10, i20 and i30 ranges offer new stylish looks, great driving characteristics and excellent levels of comfort and safety.

What’s more, the flagship of the Edition range – the i30 – gets an exclusive new sporty look. A modified front grille, hexagonal air intake and sculpted fog lamps, plus side skirts and a new rear bumper incorporating twin exhaust trims are features found only on this model.

Priced from £13,400 on-the-road (with VAT at the higher 17.5% rate), the i30 Edition is over £4,000 cheaper than an entry-level Ford Focus, yet the list of standard equipment is comprehensive. As well as the exterior enhancements, standard kit includes stylish 16-inch alloy wheels, privacy glass, sports pedals, a chrome-finished gearknob, electric windows all round, remote central locking, electric heated door mirrors and a six-speaker stereo-radio CD player with Aux and USB connections and steering wheel audio controls. Like all models in the i30 range, it also includes life-saving ESP as standard, along with active front head restraints and six airbags.

Engine choices are 1.4 or 1.6-litre petrol, or Hyundai’s acclaimed 1.6-litre CRDi diesel, which offers sub-119g/km emissions. A stop-start system is available as a £200 option on all models, dropping emissions lower and saving even more fuel.

The i20 Edition, available with Hyundai’s advanced 1.2-litre petrol engine, is offered as both a three and five-door and also benefits from incredible levels of standard equipment.

Priced from £10,565 on-the-road, over £700 cheaper than an entry-level Ford Fiesta, the i20 Edition benefits from plush half-leather seat trim, air conditioning, coloured interior detailing, electric windows, leather steering wheel and gear knob, steering wheel audio controls, a CD-radio with Aux and USB connections and remote central locking – luxuries normally found in much more expensive models.

Exterior enhancements include front fog lights and 15-inch alloy wheels, plus two optional exterior colours exclusive to Edition models – Crystal White and Ice Blue.

Benefiting from a five-star Euro NCAP crash test rating, the i20 Edition looks after its occupants with standard ESP, active front seat head restraints and six airbags.

The i10 Edition, priced at £8,425 on-the-road, arrives with a level of standard equipment that puts many bigger cars to shame. As well as smart 14-inch alloy wheels, body-coloured door mirrors, body side mouldings and front fog lights, the i10 Edition also has remote central locking, colourful interior detailing, air conditioning, electric windows, a height-adjustable drivers’ seat and a leather steering wheel and gearknob. Powered by a 1.1-litre petrol engine, the i10 has emissions of just 119g/km, meaning a tax disc will cost just £35 per year.

All of the Edition models also benefit from Hyundai’s famed five-year warranty. A full list of prices appears below.
