BREA, CA - February 12, 2010: On the eve of this year’s Winter Olympics in Vancouver, Team Suzuki brings a complete arsenal of winter specialists to the medals podium. No stranger to the demands of winter competition, Suzuki has a long history of excelling in the demanding environments brought on by winter and altitude.

Suzuki Kizashi

The newest member of the team is Suzuki’s 2010 Kizashi. Joining the hyper-competitive midsize segment, Kizashi combines aspirational specifications with high levels of content, a dynamic platform, and not-so-sensible sheetmetal. Its all-season prowess, with a sport-oriented chassis and class-leading standard horsepower, is fully winterized with the addition of available all-wheel drive. In combination with an athletic build and aggressive price point, Suzuki’s Kizashi joins the fray with winning DNA and gold medal podium positioning.

Suzuki SX4 Crossover

As its senior member, Suzuki’s SX4 Crossover ties the spirit of the Sapporo Winter Games (held in 1972, approximately the same time as Suzuki was establishing Japan’s SUV category) with the high fashion displayed in the Turin Games in ‘98. As the least expensive AWD vehicle available in the United States, the SX4 Crossover’s Italian design brings a well-recognized combination of style and functionality to the hatch segment.

No event highlights the ability to ‘turn on a dime’ more than the alpine skiing slalom – and no compact is as skilled at turning on that dime as Suzuki’s new SX4 SportBack. The SportBack eschews all-wheel drive for the improved speed of FWD and lower vehicle weight. With an all-new 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine, horsepower and torque are up, and there’s rarely been more ‘fun’ in functionality.

From the snow in Vancouver to the heat at Volusia Speedway, Team Suzuki compresses its capability into six gears. While the Winter Games come once every four years, the 2010 Suzuki team is available for immediate delivery at your nearest Suzuki dealer, just in time for your own gold medal podium finish.
