Newly inaugurated Flagler Waterfront showcases two legendary performance brands

WEST PALM BEACH, FL - February 20, 2010: The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG and the AMG Cigarette boat unveiled last week at the Miami Boat Show will be displayed along the Flagler waterfront during Supercar Experience, Saturday February 27th. These two extraordinary high performance machines are among the featured highlights of the three day event.

The much anticipated opening of the Downtown Waterfront will be unveiled the weekend preceding Supercar Experience. "I can think of a better way to complement the opening of our new waterfront," said Mayor Lois Frankel.

The two legendary racing brands-Mercedes-AMG and Cigarette Racing-joined forces to create a custom AMG inspired off shore racing boat. While each brand's playground is as different as asphalt and water, both AMG and Cigarette use their racing expertise to develop exclusive, high-performance machines for passionate enthusiasts.

About 2011 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG
Available this May, the 2011 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG was developed exclusively by Mercedes-AMG, the high performance and motorsports division of Mercedes-Benz. Featuring a lightweight aluminum spaceframe chassis, hand built 563-hp AMG V8 engine and signature "Gullwing" doors, the SLS AMG is sure to quicken the pulse of high-performance enthusiasts.

Taking direct inspiration from the all-new Mercedes Benz SLS AMG super sports car, the new Cigarette AMG offshore racer will feature more than 100 innovations included in the design, development and rigging of the boat.
